Wu Chun In Support Of Eco-Friendly Drives, Says Still Part Of Fahrenheit.

Bandar Seri Begawan - Wu Chun, a Brunei-born and acclaimed superstar in Asia, has stepped forward to help raise awareness on Earth Hour as well as the benefits of reusable bags and taking part in eco-friendly drives.
Tomorrow, the world will mark Earth Hour and all branches of Fitness Zone will be closed earlier than usual, at 8.30pm. This was revealed by Wu, Fitness Zone owner, during a press conference yesterday in Kiulap.
"We took part last year in Earth Hour.
It has always been in my mind to organise more eco-friendly activities and, as I am back (in the country) for a longer period, I want to start by joining the Earth Hour initiative," he said.

"In addition, we are also promoting reusable bags for members. New members who come into Fitness Zone can get a reusable bag for free, while registered members could buy a big reusable bag for $5 and or its smaller version for only $3. The proceeds will go to the Fitness Zone Charity Fund."

He also revealed that Fitness Zone Kiulap will start using mostly LED bulbs like the Serusop branch. "I always use reusable bags and keep them by my side. They are very tough and eco-friendly. When fans give me gifts, I would put them in my reusable bags," he added.

When asked about the funds raised for the Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims (Fitness Zone has organised a collection), he replied, "We currently have over $7,000 in the charity drive."

Furthermore, on a separate topic of no longer being signed up with Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit, Wu Chun explained: "My contract has expired. However, we will still continue to sing and perform together.

"Previously, I had two companies looking after me - the music company and also a filming company. It was a bit complicated to be managed by the two companies. So now, with only one company looking after me, it is simpler."

He will be heading to Kuala Lumpur in the next few days to be with fellow Fahrenheit members. However, on the release of future albums, it is hard to say, as Wu Chun now wants to just focus on his movies.(He's already there with Fahrenheit .. dated : 24th March)
