According to an insider, recording company HIM International had agreed to release Wu Chun as the star had asked for "half of Fahrenheit's earnings, while the remaining half was to be divided amongst the other three members".
In response to this, the heartthrob said that it was HIM who tried to tempt him with the offer when they approached him to discuss the renewal of his contract.
Wu Chun mentioned that he struggled with the offer for quite awhile before turning it down.
HIM has refused to comment on the claims, saying that it was inconvenient to discuss the terms of the contract.
With Wu Chun gone, it was rumoured that the group's fan club is also facing some internal conflict, with some members hoping for the remaining members to split.
Last Saturday, after an event in Wuxi, an angry fan was seen hurling a lighter, and splashing water at Aaron, while shouting for him to "leave Fahrenheit".
Aaron was reportedly enraged by the fan's action and was on the verge of beating up the fan before he was stopped by the security guard.
In response to the incident, HIM expressed, "It did happen, but it could be due to the recent change in the group which caused an emotional stress in the fan. We believe that there weren't any ill intentions."

Somehow I was hoping that maybe Aaron and Chun's friendship don't get shaken by this issue because the sky is really big enough for stars to shine at their best together....
Like I said Aaron is a kid in every way because kids don't try to hide their emotions and that's what I love best in Aaron, I know exactly how he feels so I know how I should react...at some point though I should say if these emotions clouds his head just breathe Aaron, just breathe....you're a man in every way but don't let go of that kid in you!!!! I love that kid in you!!!! Aaron just keep singing....you belong on that stage....don't compete with anyone just learn to embrace change and yourself....my love is with you no matter the distance...bless you!
wow, i hope that wu chun leaving fahrenheit would not affect the brotherhood and friendship that all 4 members had built with each other. i am already really really sad to hear that wu chun will no longer be a part of fahrenheit, but to have to hear that because of that that it might ruined their friendships is even worse.
Awww ..I really hope that even though WuChun left, the group can still be best friends, and they'll still communicate with WuChun.
Even though the fan was angry, did he haveta take it out on ARRON? HE'S INNOCENT. I feel really bad for Arron, as well as Wu Chun. I feel bad for the whole band. I hope they're all okay.
OMG! if i was there, i would help arron bash the fan up. he wants arron to leave fahrenheit yea? i make sure he leaves the world b4 arron ever does that! Arron is innocent. curse him. how can he ask a cutie to leave fahrenheit ?!

I have done my best, I have love till it hurts, I have motivated till there was nothing left...please relieve me of this responsibility and bless the four of them CHUN, AARON, JIRO, and CALVIN. They are your sons lead them to where they will use their talents best, make them cherish and value good relationship to be a light to those who are lonely. Make them value time with their family....thank you LORD for sending Angels to protect them through unknown faces.... ;-)thank you....
Aaron actions speaks louder than words!!!! the best way to know if someone truly loves you if they spend time with you...and yes I have been in this site talking to the wind hoping it will get to you....I am tired I shall go about my daily routine, by now you should have found your strength, you chose fame so expect the price, I believe I have more than is required....thank you for letting me love you "YOU MADE ME TRULY HAPPY" :-) Love your parent for some people like me have none....
